A county-wide movement to flood social media with uplifting content, while keeping sportsmanship and kindness at the heart of every rivalry.
What It Is
Public post any positive, encouraging, or motivational content on your social media (FB/IG only for contest points) - quotes, verses, stories, photos, videos, memes, or simple acts of kindness. Every uplifting post counts.
Use #ViralKindnessChallenge on every post to be part of the movement. To earn a point for your school in the scholarship contest, also add your school’s hashtag (see list below).
Public posts are required to verify for the leaderboard.
How It Works
- Share uplifting content regularly during the school year.
- Include #ViralKindnessChallenge on every post.
- To count as a point for your school, add the official school hashtag:
Brooks High School: #BrooksLions
Central High School: #CentralWildcats
Lauderdale Co. High School: #LauderdaleCountyTigers
Lexington High School: #LexingtonBears
Rogers High School: #RogersPirates
Waterloo High School: #WaterlooCougars
Wilson High School: #WilsonWarriors
- Tag friends, teams, clubs, and youth groups to keep the ripple going.
GameDay Goodness
Kindness is greater than rivalry. Use game days, competitions, and performances to model respect and sportsmanship. Then share it with #ViralKindnessChallenge and your school hashtag.
-
Pre-Game - Share a verse, quote, or positive message for both schools.
-
During - Welcome visiting fans, hold doors, and show small acts of respect.
-
After - Congratulate opponents and highlight effort on both sides.
-
Post - Upload your photo/video with the required tags to help your school.
This keeps the contest local, but the impact spreading far beyond district lines.
Timeline
- Contest runs September 4, 2025 through March 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST.
- Final tally and winning school announced within 72 hours of contest end.
