National #viralkindnesschallenge Overview

TRB Hope Foundation

#ViralKindnessChallenge - Going Viral for Good

A movement to flood social media with encouragement, positivity, and everyday acts of kindness. Easy to join. Everyone welcome.

Official Tag

Participation is simple - only one tag is required:

#ViralKindnessChallenge

Optional for additional visibility: @trbhopefoundation

How It Works

  1. Public post uplifting content - a quote, verse, story, photo, video, meme, or an act of kindness.
  2. Use #ViralKindnessChallenge so your post joins the movement.
  3. Optional: Tag @trbhopefoundation to amplify reach and for potential features.
  4. Challenge others - tag 3 friends, family, or groups to keep the ripple going.  Flood social media with positive content.
  5. Support LCS (AL) Schools:  You can add one additional hashtag to get your favorite school points towards their scholarship contest.  Further details FOUND HERE.

Small, consistent actions matter. Public posting often is encouraged, perfection is not required.

GameDay Goodness (Optional Ideas for Schools)

Kindness is greater than rivalry. Use games, competitions, and performances to model respect and sportsmanship - then share it with #ViralKindnessChallenge.

  • Pre-Event: Wish both sides a safe, spirited event.
  • During: Welcome visitors, hold doors, show small acts of respect.
  • After: Congratulate the other side and highlight effort on both teams.

Why It Matters

  • Creates unity across communities nationwide.
  • Promotes mental health and suicide prevention awareness through positivity.
  • Reminds people daily that they matter and are not alone.
  • Builds a ripple of encouragement anyone can join.
